I'm here for you

Feeding a new baby can be hard work! Chances are you have a lot of questions. Whether you're a mom baffled by her fifth child, or a parent chestfeeding their first baby, you are not alone. I've got your back, or front if you want to be technical. Helping parents find the tools and confidence to feed their babies successfully is what makes me happiest. Though I must admit the babies are mighty cute, too.

Meet Briana

Briana Hodgson RN, BSN, IBCLC

(she/her)

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am also a Registered Nurse (RN) and since 2015 my emphasis has been on helping mothers feed and nurture their new babies. I am qualified to provide support in any situation, from those "I think I should already know this" questions all the way through to collaborating with your pediatrician on major anatomical or medical challenges. My background is in hospital-based Lactation Consulting as well as Pediatric Nursing and Home Health Care.

I live in Bellingham with my husband, our 12-year-old big kid, our 6-year-old little kid, and a giant cat named Henry. In my free time you can find me running and hiking in the rain, or playing at the pump track with my little one if it's not raining.
